Our little pool room

I have been enjoying our poolroom this summer so much,  I wanted to share some photos. Yes, I posted this a few years ago but I have more photos to share. I hope you enjoy and maybe get some ideas for yourself. Keep in mind my husband (Mac) and I did all the work . A labor of love !

Chalk paint and my space in OB

Pulled a few pieces out of the shed, bought some chalk paint and got to work....

The first piece was the French sideboard......I love the way it turned out,it did not last 24 hours in the store.
I'm going to keep cleaning out my shed, I'm enjoying working with this Chalk paint.

"Seaside Summer Fete" @ Vignettes Antiques in Ocean Beach, San Diego

 Today I took stuff to my spaces in Ocean Beach,C.A. We are having a huge summer kick off on Saturday @ Vignettes Antiques.Come join the celebration 12 noon to 5pm.We will have french inspired summer party ideas and party food served in all the booths.The weather is beautiful - You've got to be here !!!!!! I still need to add the last minute details, but here is a look so far.... I so look forward to seeing you all here !!!!

A few new bottles

Did some soldering over the weekend and here is what I came up with.

Todays work is done

I have been on the hunt for chairs for weeks now.When it rains it pours, I found 8 in one day. Here are the first 4 that I finished today .Tomorrow they will be in my space @ Vignettes in Ocean Beach CA

They where in bad shape. After sanding,cleaning,priming, a coat of white "opps" paint and then distressing .They where ready for the seats to be covered.I covered then burlap bags I picked up last summer in Roseville CA. I love how they finished up!
 Here are some bottles I finished  also.

P.S behind the white chairs you can see a bit of the raised bed my husband built for me. I'll post about that later.

Git-R-Done

I have been helping my friend Pam clean out her dads old barn and sheds. Way back in a dark corner of one of the sheds we found this broken down dirty Sideboard. I knew I had to have it.

I knew she would be a beauty after I give it some TLC..

This beauty is now in my space at "Vignettes" in Ocean Beach, along with some new signs and bottles I made.

The beachy ones are in my space at "Newport ave. Antique Center" come on down....

Open door, open mind.

On one of my visits to Round Top Texas I had in the back of my head that my narrow dining room needed a dining table. I found this door and my wheels started turning.

Next came the legs, The Home Depot is a great source for these. They come unfinished and I painted them white and then used a brown stain where needed.

After some final sanding and added a glass top we had a dining table.

I have enjoyed this table more than any other.

Try this DIY or custom orders are accepted, I also have a chippy blue table in Vignettes right now!
