The fear is gone

This last week my husband and I went down to our casita in mexico. I havn't been down but once in the last few years because of all the danger alerts.I'm glad I went. It is so beautiful and peaceful. No shopping near our place but there is beach combing.

Shopping today was so much fun! Had to share. All in my palette. Haviland china,fiesta bowls,ironstone pieces.What else could I ask for on a thursday shopping trip ?. xoxox

Still expecting Summer

It is safe to say that a lot of us San Diegans are still waiting for a taste of that summer heat.

I found this amazing vintage ice box and though I would put some energy into it in hopes the sun will come shining and I can use it to entertain outdoors.

Steps: Sanded it down, Painted it, Exposed the copper in the metal basin, attached a bottle opener, fill with Ice and your set!
